Anadin Ultra capsules contains liquid form of ibuprofen. They are specially formulated to be easily absorbed by the body and so beat pain fast.
Anadin Ultra is for relief of mild to moderate pain including headache, backache, muscular and rheumatic pain, dental pain, period pain, migraine, neuralgia, feverishness and symptoms of colds and flu.
Do not exceed the stated dose. Do not take more than 6 capsules in any 24 hour period. Do not give to children under 12 years. Do not use if: you have had or are suffering from stomach ulcers or other stomach disorders. You are allergic to ibuprofen, any of the other ingredients listed, aspirin, or any other pain relieving medication. Consult your doctor before taking this medicine if you are pregnant, asthmatic or if you suffer from Kidney, heart or liver problems. If symptoms persist for more than 3 days consult your doctor.
Anadin Ultra
For when you need strong pain relief, the concentrated liquid power of Anadin Ultra liquid capsules hits tough pain hard. Anadin Ultra liquid-filled ibuprofen capsules are easy to swallow and are specially formulated to relieve tough pain, letting you get on with your life.
Effective relief from:
- Back pain
- Joint or rheumatic pain
- Muscle ache
- Migraine
Each liquid-filled capsule contains 200mg of Ibuprofen.
Anadin Ultra is available in packs containing 8, 12, 16 or 32 tablets. The 32 tablet pack is available only from your pharmacy.
Dosage:
Adults, the elderly, and children over 12 years of age: You should use the lowest dose for the shortest time necessary to relieve your symptoms. Take 1 to 2 capsules with a drink of water. Repeat every 4 to 6 hours as required. Do not take more than 6 capsules in 24 hours. Do not give to children aged under 12 years of age, unless on the advice of a doctor. Do not exceed the stated dose. If symptoms persist for more than 10 days, stop taking this medicine and consult your doctor.
Will this medicine suit me? Do not take this medicine if any of the following apply to you:
- You have or have ever had a stomach ulcer, or stomach bleeding or a perforation due to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs)
- You are taking products that contain aspirin or any other NSAIDs
- You are allergic to ibuprofen or aspirin, or any of the other ingredients listed on the back of pack or in the pack leaflet
- You are pregnant
Talk to your doctor before taking this medicine if any of the following applies to you:
- You suffer from asthma
- You are pregnant or breast-feeding
- You are trying to get pregnant. Ibuprofen belongs to a group of medicines (NSAIDs) which may impair fertility in women. This is reversible on stopping the medicine.
- You have problems with your kidneys, heart or liver
- You are taking corticosteroids, lithium, methotrexate, water tablets or medicines which reduce the clotting of the blood or reduce your blood pressure
- You have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars because this product contains sorbitol (E420)
